What are Social Stans!?

Stan- an overzealous or obsessive fan of a particular brand or entity.

Statistics show that people are more likely to care about a brand if it's referred to them by a stranger on the internet, as opposed to the brand promoting itself directly via advertisements or aggressive B2C engagements. This process of having other people share and discuss your brand on your behalf, is called social proof. We have a directory of Stans (users) who are ready to share and talk about your brand online, for other people to see and become interested. It's really the best way to promote organic interest in your brand, on social media. Here's how it works:

  • Choose a plan and tell us what you want us to post (topic, hashtags, etc).
  • Watch posts being made for up to 7 days. Feel free to repost!
  • At the end of the campaign, we'll send you a report of all the posts made.

  • To us, a Stan is an individual who shares and promotes a brand to others online. To most other people, a Stan is a glorified fan boy/girl.

  • No. Our community is composed of regular people. The benefit here is twofold: number of posts made (can start trends) and referral from the common person is more trusted. Because nobody likes seeing blatant advertising :)

  • We thoroughly vet our Stans, to make sure they are real people who have high quality engagements.

  • Social proof is a concept, that people are more likely to trust a referral for a product/service/brand from a stranger who testifies it's worth, rather than the brand directly advertising to the end user. Don't toot your own horn, let a Stan toot it for you.

  • Our community of Stans is growing. As soon as we have enough members on a particular platform, we will enable it as an option. Patience, young Padawan.

  • We offer incentives to our Stans who make multiple posts, this is normal.

  • Due to the irreversible nature of social media exposure, we do not offer refunds.

  • Our Stans are able to select which categories or industries they are most passionate about, and they get paid to make high quality posts. They know they'll be promoting a variety of different topics or brands.
